Seasoned Career Estate Manager/Chief of Staff- Need ASAP LA

Seeking a self motivated, highly  responsive, exceedingly detailed but go with the flow Estate Manager/Chief of Staff for 2 homes.  Both are over 30,000 square feet – LA and Vegas. Will have no ego and understand that there are large picture and smaller parts of the role.  Will ensure at all times that the hones is stocked, well running with all AV/Technology/Crestron needs and well stocked.  Will maintain and ensure that all orders have arrived for furniture, will maintain relationship with vendors and will know how to manage many events.

Seeking to pay around 100K-150K plus benefits, but may consider higher for the right person.

The position is responsible for providing support at two properties.

Responsible for management of staff (assistants, housekeepers, chefs, groundsmen)

Conduct daily inspection of house and property to ensure five star level quality of cleanliness, order and function.

Purchase groceries, household and property supplies. • Light but regular food preparation duties • Interface with third party vendors and contractors.  • Basic competency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook • Capable of managing home A/V electronics (equipment, internet cable, satellite), home security system, A/C system, property utility supply, etc. • Create and/or update documentation for household systems, policies and procedures. • Facilitate receipt of incoming shipments • Manage wine cellars at both properties and keep and maintain associated inventory • Organize dinner parties or similar events, hiring caterers and managing the event staff. Manage and be available for annual Thanksgiving dinner event. • Maintain vehicles • Prepare monthly statements relating to credit card purchases Applicant requirements: • Able to affect simple repairs, lift reasonable loads and enter crawlspaces as needed to inspect conditions, remedy dead pests, etc. • Has reliable auto and valid driver’s license and insurance • Pleasant personality and able to receive feedback constructively • Presents respectable image with guests, neighbors and vendors •
